Saying the things she won't

After 30+ years I finally realize that my greatest asset, & my downfall, is the fact that I will say anything & everything that pops in my head. So as I pursue the career I finally decided on & try to decide if I really want to settle down I'm using my God-given gift of words to talk it out.

1. Dedication

   So my training for this new job has been on the campus of my school & it has really got me ready to go back. It’s a little difficult when I have to pay for classes myself but it is so worth it. I ran into my A&P teacher today & she asked how were things going, after taking a few minutes to catch her up she looked at me & said ” Don’t give up, you have an understanding & passion for science that is genuine. I’ve seen you come in limping, tired, & so sick that you could barely keep your head up but you showed up. You can’t lose that.” I had tears streaming down my cheeks but I gave her one of the biggest hugs. Her acknowledgement meant the world to me, I hope she knows.
